Sli,
Now I am all about loving my neighbor, and Christ instructs me to do this, so I do.
But to propose that Christians must be sheep led to slaughter is silly. Love our enemies, pray for those that do us harm, transcend the wicked, and be seperate from the world around us, yes. Sit back and watch my wife killed, no.
I can forgive and love the wicked but I don't have to participate in their antics, sanction them, much less condone evil actions like the killing of Christians, the beheading of innocents, little children, and others.
Eventually the Big JC will return and decimate the enemy for the very immoral and outrageous evil being committed in much of the world, which outside of Western cultures must surely seem like a tribulation.
So yes spread the Gospel, try to live correctly, make mistakes, and live my life in Love. But in my Book to simply watch evil happen right in front of me and then do nothing about it would be greater evil.
J15:13 - "...No greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends".
9/11 plane into Pentagon, what do you think?

Baron I am sorry for my posts if they have offended anyone & also to the rest of the clan.
This thread is done for me! Red is right without the facts we can only have opinions of which will bother some & will be agreed on with others. For that reason until the facts are out if they ever do.
The beauty of living here is we have the right to think what we want & throwing fireballs around only burns things! Just be aware.

Now now, I'm sure everyone here doesn't mean to have hostile intentions towards one another. This is just what happens in debates, that's why they exist.
My recommendation: take it all in, and decide for yourself what it is you want to follow. Like my World Cultures teacher preaches: "I don't tell you what to believe, I show you the facts and what's there, then it's up to you to believe what you want."

Yeah sure I'll agree to disagree and don't want to see anyone run off for no good reason, but rather than leave myself I refuse to sit back and read while others take a dump on my flag. Not going to do it, never.
This brings me back to the theme of Baron's suggestion that this is not the same clan he joined. This is partially true.
In the beginning we did not foster this kind of discussion board, especially for the reasons witnessed in this thread.
We are all different and spread across the globe. We will probably never agree on politics or religion, so we should leave these subjects alone.
What we will always agree on is games, which is why we are all here. So in the end political speech and religious speech really have no place in a forum about gaming.
If the rest of you are really as adamant about this as I am then let's not just sit back and do nothing, let's amend the Constitution like we are supposed to.
Let's add an amendment to the Campquake Constitition that forbids religious and political speech. People can go all over the Internet for their flame fixes and can dump on whatever Nation and whatever flag and whatever war until their hearts content, as long as we don't have to read about it any more.
