Dataspel - request for tiny web server

Post by Neophyte »

Data - do you still have that tool that you wrote years ago that runs a simple web server out of a directory? I would like to get a copy of it if I may. I have a Windows 2008 server that will eventually run Apache (software developers decision) and I need to test firewall rules. So I didn't want to run a full blown IIS 7.0 when it's just going to be torn down for Apache in a few weeks.

It's a very cool image, until the first couple of hundred viewings...

Find tweb here:

It turns out to have an egregious security flaw, so don't
drop it into a directory tree that you care about. I am
fixing it now, will probably re-release it in Java.
