Adding Games to Steam

Post by Buzzed »

Not sure if any of you know this, but in steam you can add your non bought steam games. In your steam window under games, there is a box you can click called "add non-steam" game. Kinda cool.

I bought Cod4 off the shelf, but they let you add it to your games. (maybe this is old news??) Anyway I am not sure if the added games will update like the other steam bought games, but might be cool if it does.

Buzzed -- as far as i know all that does is add a shortcut to your other games

The auto-updating feature of steam won't work for those shortcuts :(

I think it would be cool to add non-steam games to steam, via the same means that you can add purchased valve games to steam...activating the product key or something like that.... just have them detect the kind of key it is, like they do for other games... :)

Valve and Steam, are 1 in1.
