It's so true that we rely on Immigrants for our food harvesting etc. So what if people hate mexican immigrants? they're the ones that make everything so cheap.

Can you imagine what would happen if we "americans" had to do all that manuel labor harveting food for the nation (and in some cases, the world)?

We wouldn't stand for below minimum wage. No american would work for that low of a wage. "We're american for gosh sakes"

Right? that's what most people would say. That would make the price of food go up a lot because american farmers wouldn't be able to pay their american harvesters.

Canada has problems with immigrants too. This isn't an American problem. Canada even has programs to help you feed and house your immigrant workers while they're visiting to work. But the distance from Mexico makes this difficult for workers. And some of them are staying in a plywood house with a tarp stapled to the roof for "weather-proofing". America has similar provisions, but rarely do you see employers use them because of their difficult access and imposed restrictions.

Immigrants work very hard. They have some of the best work ethic in the world. But, maybe that's because they need to work hard to survive.

I've roofed a few houses, and cut many lawns and even done weed abatement for almost 3 years of summers, all working along with or most of the time hiring immigrants.

It was very rare that I ever hired an immigrant that wasn't a complete eff'n moron, or lazy bastard. If I found a good one, I usually tried to hire him on a regular basis. But I'd go through about 50 of them before I actually hit one that knew anything or didn't screw around on the job. And thesedays, you try to get one and they think that they can charge you $60 an hour for their labor. I even had 2 come and paint the inside of a house in Burbank for a day and they did such a crap job on it, I had to spend twice as much to re-do it after they had messed it all up.
Whats worse is the fact that Home Depot in Burbank has now taken to giving these fu$kers a shelter for them to sit in while they wait for someone to hire them. I sent the city of Burbank a nice letter before they even built it, but do they give a crap? not really... They still think it's good for the economy.

Immigration is good, yes, but immigrants that come to any country and think they own the place, and feel the urge to throw their trash all over the ground like they're still in their $hithole can lick my salties. I work in the middle of Pacoima (ironically about a minute away from where Rodney King got some). So needless to say I'm right in the middle of immigrant alley, I have to deal with immigrants on a daily basis. Dealing with and working with these people is a pain in my ass most of the time.
But, occasionally you will find one or two that are decent...

As far as I'm concerned, I wish they'd take days off more often. Traffic was hella smooth that day.

It is true that prices for some things will go up. But prices for others will go down like insurance and taxes. There would be balance after the intial shock.

About the other thing about hard working and strong work ethics. I have worked with them my whole working life. They are the biggest pieces of sh1t in the world. Thier work is always half @ss, they do just what they have to in order to keep the job. They generally have no ambitions or desire to move up and take on more responsibility. This is my personal experience and it is the same with family and friends.

You here that crap all the time on how hard of a worker they are, its total BS. Its like saying all black people have huge c0cks or all irish are allalcoholics or blondes are air heads or white men can't jump all they are are stories.

You can't argues this one i have first hand experience and so do my family and friends and obviously so does KD.

Quick clarification I have worked with some that have been exceptional wether they were frome Nigeria or Mexico, all over. I wonder who started the rumor about Mexicans being such hard workers could it MEXICANS. And before the next post says americans are lazy or whatever, Im not saying were better we have sh1t @ss workers too. You show me a hard working mexican, and I'll show you a hard working person from any other race or religion so please dont' stereotype. Remember there are two sides to every fence.

The only nationality I've seen that have been consistantly harder working than average are eastern europeans. I worked for a family of them at a pub and they worked us so hard and gave no breaks, ever. They also didn't give me a day off in 3 months, 6hours per day for 7 days a week for 3 months

But they were crazy. And its a gross generalization to say they all are like that.

A younger russian fellow manages a convenience store near where I work now and hes quite the comedian. Works hard, great service, and always had a joke ready when you arrive.

But as for any other nationality, I've personally seen no evidence that says theyre better than anyone else. It all boils down to how youre raised, not where youre from.
