They boycott us! They rail against us! They deride us in our own country! They trash our language! They disregard our laws! They flood our schools while bankrupting our hospitals! They fly their flag in our country as if it's more important than ours! They screamed, "Buy nothing gringo!"

It's simple! Either the United States is a nation of laws. Or, it isn't!

Either we respect and obey our immigration laws, and ALL laws! Or, we don't! Either the ongoing flagrant disregard of our borders is a law-breaking renegade action! Or, it isn't!

Either employers enjoy blatant disregard for our laws against hiring illegals and thus make unlawful profits! Or, they don't! Either President Bush upholds the laws of our Constitution! Or, he doesn't!

Foreign enclaves on our soil fail the American Dream. Cultural apartheid accelerates national chaos! E Pluribus Unum ­ "Out of Many, One"! We must learn, respect, and use the English language, and honor our civic due-diligence. Or, we fail as a nation!

Countless billions of underprivileged poor in third-world countries desire to come to the United States. Our immigration laws are enacted to control that ingress, but our government panders to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. That drives a piece of our economic engine--as it did in Paris, France--before the whole thing blew up. Australia, too!

In the last three decades, we added 44 million recent aliens, plus millions of anchor-babies. Each can sponsor citizenship for their parents and relatives in the near future. We suffer accelerating anarchy--an explosion waiting to happen.

The simple choice is:

Lawlessness and anarchy! Or, respectful law-and-order! In an ironic twist--aliens fled lawlessness and failed societies.

HOW MANY ILLEGAL ALIENS--REALLY?

Major political chicanery deceives Americans. While the U.S. Bureau of the Census tells us there are "only" 12 million illegals; more specific population indicators tell us there are more--MANY MORE! Time Magazine's Pulitzer Prize winning authors Barlett and Steele informed us that the Census is wrong by a factor of three. Bear-Stearns proved 20 million illegals--plus their children. Head-counts in public schools verify higher numbers. Here is a VERY accurate estimate from Time Magazine, Bear-Stearns Report, NumbersUSA, additional figures from U.S. State Department, U.S Labor Department, U.S Immigration authorities, plus seven million anchor-babies research by Dr. Edwards of Center for Immigration Studies in Washington, DC.

In June, 2006:

9,832,000 Legal aliens (~4.5 million earned citizenship.)

The 2006 "Growth Rate" is GIGANTIC:

4,500,000 "Border-Jumpers" (estimated illegal, illegals)

1,100,000 New "Anchor Babies" (estimated children of illegals)

1,700,000 New Legal Aliens (numbers jumbled-buried)

1,300,000 Overstay Visa aliens

What is the impact of this huge, unplanned influx? The answer: CHAOS! Our public schools flirt with disaster. Our prisons gush with illegal felons! Our public hospitals, likewise!

Our taxes explode through the roof! Believe it or not, our government is "doing it to us" while we never voted on this question. That is lawlessness-anarchy personified. Our Social-Services systems suffer overloading; fixed-income citizen-taxpayers decline into poverty.

Many of our lower-middle-class breadwinners (more than 20 million in the last ten years) have shifted into "the welfare society" when their jobs vanished. Catastrophic!

What about suffering American citizens? In 2006, some five million more Americans suffer job loss to aliens through insourcing, outsourcing, offshoring and wage depression. It is disastrous for America's working poor.

Thirty million U.S. citizen-taxpayers have already lost their jobs to aliens. American workers are being displaced and replaced by millions of foreign workers legally and illegally brought into the United States. It's being engineered by President Bush and a complicit Congress.

When the rate of immigration exceeds the rate of assimilation--it is a recipe for the destruction of any civilization.

What would it be like with a day without illegal aliens?

If illegals represent 12% of the U.S. population, what would happen if they boycotted not for a day, but for a decade by leaving our country?

-- We would have ~12% more gasoline available in the free market.

- Our highway crowding would alleviate by 20 million people.

- More used automobiles and homes would be for sale, and cheaper.

- Apartment rents would reduce; supply-and-demand.

- Public school overcrowding would diminish by 1.5 million at the very least.

- The remaining American students would receive excellent educations in English.

-- In Colorado, $3,000.000.00 would be saved in one day because illegals wouldn't be taping into public services. It varies in each state as to numbers of illegals. The savings in ten years would be astronomical.

- Hospital crowding would diminish, and budgets would improve.

- The need for social-services would diminish by billions of dollars.

- Produce-fruit prices would increase by 13%. Cheap compared to what taxpayers pay for services.

--Crime would drop dramatically and prisons would empty saving billions of dollars.

America would not suffer balkanization, language apartheid, cultural apartheid, angry non-citizens, chaotic schools and bankrupted hospitals. Benefits gained include more jobs for Americans, peaceful communities, less drunks on highways, less burglaries, less rapes, greater honesty in business, fair wages paid to Americans and SO much more. Let's have illegal aliens boycott the USA for a decade. We would all be better off and our country would be lawful, peaceful and sustainable.

The simple truth is, from what we have studied in our AP Economics class, is that if we were to deport all the illegal immigrants in this country, our economy would fall to pieces because they represent a large majority of the physical labor force.

I love mexicans. I love the food, I love the beer, I love the shots, I love the language, the music is another story. I saw the movie (as much as I could stomach anyway) and it intentionally muddies the true argument. The argument isn't about mexicans, it's about Illegal Aliens... wherever they are from. Here in So Cal, they are mostly from Latin America.

They comprise less than 5% of any labor market they are in. If they (illegals) all disappeared tomorrow, the employers would be forced to pay a living wage for the jobs instead of the slave wage they pay illegals.

is a bogus argument. It should be:
"They only do the jobs Americans won't do for $1.25 an hour"
The Economy would improve because they take far more than they give. I am one who is affected by a long commute because of the millions who broke the law to come here. I am one who is affected by the ones who have filled up the emergency rooms to get asprin. I am one who is affected by them being unable to pay for insurance then hitting my car... twice. God forbid... but if we did an amnesty this would be the second. When is the third? Fourth? If I was a legalized Citizen who came here legally Iwould be freakin pissed.

It would be nice if we were all residents, under the new world order, but for that to happen the whole world would have to be one big socialist ball with us (and you) carrying our southern brothers so they didn't feel the need to break the law to come here. But some laws should not be there in the first place.

I dont like how the US is handeling the immegrent "problem". Did you guys here that they're trying to make it a federal offense to cross borders illegally?

I believe that we should be giving more rights to the people that support our country. They do all the jobs that us "lazy americans" don't want to do (ie: harvest food, janitorial labor, and factory labor).

I think it's rather horrid of us to take away the right of the people that help us in return for less than minimum wage.

If you think about it, it's almost a kind of slavery-like having them work here for little to no pay, and then booting them out of the country because they "take our jobs".

Some poeple out there need to be less nationalistic (right on Baron!) and start respecting people more. This is not hippie "take off your shoes so you can be closer to the earth" retoric... but instead, the truth.

Imagine what the Native americans thought when we came to the new world and took so much from them, including food, land, and jobs. And what did we give them in return? Disease.... yup... Smallpox.

They are removing the Felony provision fro the bill.

Oh BD... so misinformed... They represent 5% of THE TOTAL POPULATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! If you want to go into say... the agricultural industry, they represent a more dramatic percentage, like 60-90% of the workers in that industry. Just read above.

Yeah, we did complain about those Irish. My kin came over in a boat. But most Irish came over the legal way, tried to carry jobs, and did a lot of hard work, just like Mexicans do today; however, the Irish, as every major immigrant group has, except Hispanics, migrated to this country and then acculturated.

I've been arguing here about this forever, like a wild man, naked, and running along in the desert. No one hears me. Instead then, read me.

Multiculturalism and the destruction of national borders is a one-world wet dream and non-functional. One distant group can't generate representation for local need, hence nationalism, perhaps better referred to as localism is in fact far superior. Representative democracy, that local municipalities represent to a larger body and have a voice is the only way for free peoples to share and exchange ideas and economies.

Socialism didn't work. Communism didn't work. Placing all the power in a central political arena, but on a larger scale is non-sense. It just won't work long term, but it does sound nice.

So does multiculturalism. While I live in a multicultural world, and enjoy the fruits of many cultures, I don't celebrate the death of my own. My culture must be that God given mix of many cultures, but always with a unified central allegiance. A bond of membership in one dominant culture, an American culture for those Yanks amongst us.

For those outside of the States this argument is difficult to embrace, because the significane is lost the farther North one goes. But for those of us more South the issues are ten fold and frequent. Massive groups of people are moving North. They refuse to learn the language. They refuse to obey the laws. They don't get drivers licenses. They don't have papers. They don't want to become part of the United States, they justr want all the benefits.

This would be like me moving to Canada, doing nothing, and expecting the Canadian system to take care of my health and welfare for nothing. I would expect you to speak my pig latin language, because I refuse to learn yours, I will refuse to drive on the right side of the road, because in my culture its okay to do that, and I will expect you to celebrate my national holidays, before yours, because my culture is better than yours. In fact, I will move to Canada, and if I can bring enough of my friends we'll just take over Candada.

I don't care anymore, for all those that laugh now and think me silly, they will come your way soon too. Before you know it you'll wake up with no land to call your own, no national pride, and the world telling you your wrong wrong wrong.

It's almost like the start of that movie RED DAWN, "The United States stands alone".

A given part of my annual household budget for 2006-2007 has been allocated to home defense, and firebase training for the wife.

Don't come to this country and talk about how good your country is. If your country was so good you wouldn't be here. So when you come to our land show some respect. We are the most diverse country in the world so don't say we are discrimintating or whatever BS.
Our country is so great because of our laws and our diversity. With continous disregaurd for our laws and disrespect for our flag we will not be such a great country and lose our edge.
If your country was so bad you had to leave it, dont come over here and try and make this country like yours, bring your culture thats great but obey the law. What happens if they help destroy our country, you know what will happen they will move to the next great country like a virus and start again.
