BF3

So EA games has done a major upgrade to BF3 and added a private server option to the game. You can now rent a server ($69 per month) and have all the previlages of setting your own rules. Good on the soldiers that fork out the cash. Before you had to go mostly on a [DICE] server rules and always a min of 8 players. This adds a whole new perspective to the game.

I am hoping I now can find a server where a person can meet and start to play with familiar players. Before it was all just a free for all and without having any personal combatans you very seldom had little, and usually none, play as a real squad.

At first play it looks like a great addition.

So, I had (hopefully not re-occurring) a major problem with BF3 on my PS3, as when i re-spawn I had no guns. Really disheartening. Google "Battlefield 3 no guns spawn" and you will find hostssssss of blogs and the lack of good information.
A LOT of $%&^^$@$^$%#*&%^^*&^*$%%&#$&$%* to the nth degree.

So reading between the lines, I deleted some information files, and re-download from Sony both the game applications and extra map pack. Seems to work fine now.

It goes to show the magnitude of the immaturity out in the electronic world. People get pissed off REALLY fast when there toy is broken…
