Congrats to Fox Mulder

Post by Dataspel »

Congratulations to Fox - I understand that not only did the CERN
Large Hadron Collider start up, but it did not generate any mini
black holes to swallow the Earth nor strangelets to turn the planet
into replicant goo. Keep up the good work and go get those
Large Hadrons, bud! :)

Can't you feel our souls ignite
Shedding ever changing colours,
in the darkness of the fading night,
Like the river joins the ocean,
as the germ in a seed grows
We have finally been freed to get back home.

Awww man. I bought the special suit and all that ammo for nothing? What if we were thrown into an alternate universe but don't realize it? I got really tired today... maybe that was a phase shift...

Hey, I'm not complaining. I built a nuclear fallout shelter 1,000 below the surface. I called it Zion. I think that these are time invested items. When machines take over the world, we can host a half-nekkid dance party.

I digress - congrats CERN and Fox Mulder! All those years playing Quake finally paid off big time. Without Quake, your mind wouldn't have stayed sharp and you would have built a large metal donut for melting female T-1000's. (Although that wouldn't be a bad thing if you could reprogram her.) But the physics research will have this as the instrument of major discovery! Job well done.

I don't know of any SCTF servers, but there is a Rune quake server
at quake.shmack.net. I was able to connect using glpro, and
Rico posts he connected with winquake. I think Warf sometimes
may visit there also.

I wonder if anyone knows who wrote runequake, and if there
would be any interest in moving some SCTF runes to it?
