How does a mouse cursor work?

Ever wonder how a mouse cursor works? You move the mouse around on the mouse pad, but what really happens in the computer to make the little arrow move around on the screen?! Hmm? To reveal this mystery, many Japanese Scientists jumped in and took this question to heart. The results: a special tool was created which can magnify the cursor revealing the underlying code.
