Looks good for a starter! here's what I noticed offhand.

"distributions" on the main\about\contact pages is miss spelled.
Also, you have a link to "RAM Roofing Ing" instead of "Inc".

and it could just be me, but all of those small banners up top, look out of place. Maybe spread your knight designs banner all the way across the top of the table and drop those to the bottom right?

I thought the same about the little banners... They add color, but they don't really add any content to the site.

Also you have OpenSuSE linked to Novell instead of the OpenSuSE .org web site. :D

Wow! How cool! Spiffy and clean like a polished stone.

Loved the shameless plug for CotC in the navigation menu.

Did you actually make those changes or what, because I cant see them when I click the link you first posted. I want to see how it looks with the banner all the way across the top... and what you did with those little box links.

Looking good though.

huh? are you using a program like Dreamweaver? or kickin' it old school with writing the html by hand?

I had a class where all we did was write code... and it sucked. But now I can create an okay looking web page with just a word pad document. :D

Technology Neo! It advances for a reason! So stuff gets done faster, better, more efficiently, and with less hassle.

Any programmer will tell you that you can get tighter / faster code by writing it sans the compiler that was supposed to make it easier to take human language and convert it into machine language...

WYSISYG is no different than a compiler. It generates large bloated code that you do not have tight control over. Writing HTML by hand will always offer the best results. But I would concede that it may not be the quickest results. Whats worse is when these WYSISYG tools, like FrontPage, generate code that doesn't pass the W3C! I don't trust the shortcut!

For that reason can you not only use the program to create web pages, but they also allow for quicker and easier access to the HTML code, granting the ability to highlight specific parts of the page which invokes the specified part being highlighted in the HTML code one tab over (lot easier to find things)

I like the colors better in this version than the last. The banners caught my eye too, but I would not stack them but list them vertically one on top of the other as it would add depth to the right side.

A couple of questions, and not to insult, but did you use a template and then master the colors and concept yourself? And, what program is it you are using?

It's too bad that we can't overtool and re-create the Campquake.org website as we had discussed in another thread. I think if we took volunteers and gave each specific duties and a timetable we could make a really nice updated looking website with huge content.

Anyway, yours looks good my friend.
