Not to many of us are interested in league play. We have tried a few in the past and have found that real life imposes some struggles to bring a correctly sized team with a decent enough ping to the map. Being a international clan with wide membership, we often get hung up on the most simple of problems, spanning timezones. I don't think that CotC would be for you if your interested in persuing rank #1 in any league. But, perhaps if you are, you can recruit the membership necessary to make this happen. Membership in this clan is what you make of it. That is just one of the great benifits of having a clan approved Constitution.

You might be surprised at how many we already have that are interested in some competitive play 8)

But yes, CotC is flexible -- it adapts and changes based on what the members what to get out of it.

I only found competing fun for a little while.
It makes your fun game too much like work though when you get fully into it IMHO.

I dunno about you, but I prefer to keep my games fun...

On the same token though, Baron is right. There are a few people here who would probably jump at the chance to compete.

I am glad you came over and are considering membership.

CotC has been through multiple phases, some competitive, some isolative. But we continue, and we survive.

The interesting thing about CotC is that membership has the reigns here, and an interested member can propose just about anything. Often, the real drive to relax, or to become competitive comes not from the top, but from the bottom.

We struggled to realize that, and many clans do: that membership exists from the bottom up, not the top down. So in CotC, your service earns membership, and your service keeps us going. Not mine.

Play to the best of your ability. Respect those that you play with. We are a family Brothers and a Sister, maybe a couple Grandpas. We all learn from each other and support each other, remember there are no stupid questions. You wont find any member of [CotC] not willing to help a fellow clan member. When its time for battle you know who is going to be at your side.

Thats service with a smile. :)

Game with us, hang with us. In time as you get to know everybody, it'll feel like home. Promote the clan, and help it grow. Otherwise, just look us up online if you every feel the need to game.

This is one of the best communities for gameing. Once you get to know everyone, we're like the family you never had... or asked for... but have anyway.

I look forward to gameing with you. CSS!!!!
