STS-121 - Go Discovery!!!!!

July 4th, 2006 - Space Shuttle Discovery gets ready to launch at 11:37 AM PDT! There is an 80% chance of launch on this historic date of July 4th (American Independance Day). Which is a first ever lauch day for NASA to send humans into space on this day of celebration.

There's a crack in some internal insulation something or other... they're not gonna put it off b/c of it, I think it's happening right now as I type

They launched!

I watched it on tv. The first one i can ever remember watching. Its pretty cool stuff. Those engines are powerful!

Finaly NASA gets one in the air after many long years.

Hopefully many cool things are to be found!
