After a long and arduous struggle, a man joins a Tibetan Monastery which has a 5 year vow of silence. After 5 years, you are only allowed two words.

The first 5 years passes. The student monk sits before the head monk and says, "hard bed".

Another 5 years passes.

The student monk comes before the head monk and says, "bad food".

A further 5 years passes.

The student monk once again presents to the head monk and says, "I quit".

The head monk considers this for a moment, then replies: "I'm not surprised. All you've been doing is complaining since you got here".

Meh heh!

Kind of funny... He tried to change his life, and found that life sucks everywhere. It makes you wonder if things would have picked up for him if he just stuck through the hard times.

bed sucks? make one from grass.... it'd be softer....
food sucks? grow your own so you know how its made and what goes into it so you can't complain....

I wasn't trying to make it a debate.

And i thought it was funny too. The guy can't speak for 5 years and instead of physically changing the things he doen't like himself, he complains about them.
