Any Ideas
Seems as of late everytime i log on to play COD UO i play for about 15 mins & i lose my connection to the net! I am on a network however it is only the puter i play on that loses its IP. As i am posting this from the other one right now. I try to rest the IP it wont allow me! I then try to reboot comes up with the network problem in the system tray. I shut the puter down & leave it for awhile then it returns later. Maverick suggested trying to play COD without using Firefox which is what i did today but still had the connection problem. Anyone had a problem like this or have any ideas? I have run a virus scan & updated but still with no luck! The dsl modem has no reds on it looks normal.

i didnt say firefox you boner. I said it may be because of your xfire. I lost my connection after about 5 mins of being logged onto xfire.SLIDER wrote:Seems as of late everytime i log on to play COD UO i play for about 15 mins & i lose my connection to the net! have you tried replacing your network cables? or your router?
I've had similar problems with my internet, but not to the extent you're having them.
We also had some damage done to the DSL line coming into our house (we split it with a spade while digging...) so we have to check that too?
It could be that.

i never had problems with FireFox or Xfire...
And another thing, I deleted IE from my computer completely, b/c the moment that I would open a single IE browser my computer would get spammed to death on the spot, viruses by the hundreds would flood in, and it would take days before I could clean things up and block off IE...
