I guess one can only hope and dream for 20/20 vision thier whole life.

You could also try HijackThis, if you are a more advanced user. It finds everything that has been changed in the computer, and can be used to delete infected objects. But, beware, because it cannot differentiate between viruses and spyware and what has merely been customized by you.
