Updated CS:S on server...

After noticing my Steam updated on my computer here. Guess what, not a single server in the internet list pings below 400ms now for some reason. (majority 1000 or higher)

And, our server shows dead on my favourites list. I did the update correctly, started the service up again, it is running on server.

WTF?!!!

Well, it is officially screwed up. It creates some sort of dump file when it starts up.

Valve update system is a mess, and I think something got screwed up with it. Might have to re-install, I don't know. There is a "verify" method, that checks all files for consistancy, and it came out fine. No idea why it isn't working otherwise.

Seems Steam/Valve messed up, so good to know I didn't do it!

Well, I got it fixed! Took awhile to find out, mani admin plugin had a patch out to reflect Steam update, now our server is back up for CS:S
