Outter bands just arriving.

Doesn't look like it's gonna be a bad one.

Let's hope!

Shedding ever changing colours,
in the darkness of the fading night,
Like the river joins the ocean,
as the germ in a seed grows
We have finally been freed to get back home.

Maybe she'll just go crazy and kill herself.

Some boffins were talking about storm killing methods. I'd love to hear that discussion and see what some of the proposed ideas were. But it is Sci-fi for the time being. Early predictions suggested that they wouldn't be able to actually do anything to slow or stop a storm for several decades.

I love it when we try to out think nature. Like in Cali we decided that fires were bad so we stopped every one of them. Then we realized that some tree seeds need a fire to expose themselves, fires keep the undergrowth down and a bunch of other good crap... oops! There's probably some huge ass Godzilla monster that's buried off our coast and the ancient Gods have the storms as a way of keeping the Titan dizzy so it won't attack. Mark my words, 10 years from now Godzilla will attack Miami and it will all be the hippies fault!!

What a weird storm.

It's just parked off the coast.

Still just outter bands hitting us lightly here.

We really need rain here, but not 15 inches!

I have a friend who grew up on the Texas gulf coast and swears that
Hurricane Camille with winds of 200mph at landfall was a direct
result of ill-conceived attempts to break down the eye wall via cloud
seeding. Instead it caused a super storm, more like a 100 mile wide
tornado than a hurricane.
