BF2 Commander

Post by warf »

Wow, this is kinda fun. I started playing commander.

Not too hard once you get the hang of it.

Pretty good way to get points, cause you get double if you win.

People should always join squads, as it really makes the game work better.

Yeah, but it's tough to be a commander on a ranked server, if you're a PFC or LCPL. THere alqways seems to be someone with a higher rank who also would like the double points. :)

Ive been suprised/disappointed with the number of servers/teams I join where theres 80% of the people not in squads.

Even if you never work as a squad, at least the squad leader gives you another spawn point option.

Doesnt make sense to me.

Yep, I don't understand it either, maybe it's new folks that don't know about it.

I always try to squad up, prferably with a blackhawk spawn point! 8)

I've been pretty succesful getting commander role. I think people are afraid to do it.

OR - they are like me and tried being Commander a few times and faced a possible mutiny, so haven't gone back to master it ..risking another mutiny. heh..

Anyone know what happens if you get a mutiny? Does it take away points or something? Or just kick you from the commander position?

It just removes you from the position, nothing more.

If you want to practice Singleplayer is a good way to do it. Lets you practice giving the CPU controlled squads orders, using the SCAN and UAV to find enemy locations, artillery to blow them up, and supplies to repair and rearm.

I agree with this. We need to schedule a practice session and go over some of these "finer" points. Maybe we can find an empty server somewhere or the like.

A good couple of hours with our combined knowledge would give us all better gaming skills in BF2.
