GreenZap - Thoughts and Opinions

Post by Serpent »

Here is a press release noting the public opening of the site, and tells some about what the company does. It would seem that paypal users have an alternative now.

(I have seen a couple sites that tout GZ as a scam and whatnot, but the same has also been said about Paypal. I have seen nothing wrong with GZ as of yet, personally, and have an account there, so I am able to see the inner workings of what the members are offered; I have thus far all of what has been promised me so far - no strings.)

What experiences and opinions do you all have thus far, as far as GZ is concerned?

"Young and hip, yet clean and professional"? :)

Seriously, competition can only be good for the online
payment industry. But I doubt they can survive unless
they can convince a venue like ebay to support their
transactions.

I don't do a lot of online buying via ebay, personally. That is usually handled by my wife - who loves ebay. They do say on their site, though, that their 'funds' can be used on ebay, yahoo auctions, and other places as well.

I love ebay, but I just use my dad's account. But I agree with data, more competition means better service for customers.
