I am completely confused about what versions will allow you to play what?
If I understand it correctly, there is a HL2 bronze, HL2 Silver, and HL2 Platinum??? and then just normal CS:S that you can buy? How do you tell what version you have and I'm guessing that there is a good chance that when dod comes out, i'll have to buy something else?
Halflife versions

If I recall correctly:
Gold/Silver are the same thing, except Gold includes materials like hats, shirts, soundtracks, strategy guides etc
Gold/Silver include all Valve games ever made, included DoD Source when it is released
Bronze is simply HL2 with CS:S and nothing else, I am unsure how to acquire DoD Source if you have this package, hopefully there will be a cheap standalone to purchase.
I personally got Silver
