Greg Boyington[Camper], Well done!
For those unaware my position within [CotC] is that of "Talon" -- I am basically the overseer of our combatant legions, currently CS:S and CoD.
Anyway, I've been closely monitoring the GL and the progress of all the ghosts and I like what I see.
At this time I would like to shout out to Greg B and congratulate you for reaching the half-way point of your time as a Ghost. With 90 of the 125 needed points, you've been speeding along quite quickly, impressive! I encourage you to keep at it.
I'd like to take this time to emphasize that a ghost's stay in the GL isnt about the points or demonstrating dominate skill within a game. The point totals are DESIGNED to keep people as ghosts until the clan can get to know them a bit better. A ghost's goal must not be a point total, but rather getting to know as many CotC as possible. If we get to know you, and you get to know us, then its much easier to us to say "yeah! that person would make an excellent addition to our group!" However, if a ghost is racing to get 125 points but doesnt bother to actually get to know any of us, then when the point total is reached we're likely to scratch our heads "who is that guy?" and perhaps extend the term as ghost.
Participation and Attitude are key, getting to know CotC members is the true path to membership.
Looking forward to seeing you all out there,

A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week. A pint of sweat, saves a gallon of blood. No poor bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making other bastards die for their country.
