CS:S Wierdness

So Valve patched CS:S yesterday (Apr5) and ever since flashbangs have been broken...

Im on our server with Sci, Mopar, and Buzzed and I throw a flashbang... everyone that saw it got booted from the server. Wierd. At the time I didnt know it was cause of the flashbang soooo...

Next Round I throw another, and again everyone within view gets booted off the server. Ok ... so its the flashbangs.. I assume it was something goofed with our server and let everyone know not to use the 'bangs.

Just now I went onto a different server and threw a flashbang.. I watched the flashbang fly throug the air WITH MY ARM STILL ATTACHED TO IT, and then I was booted from the server.

The servers arent crashing, but everyone within view of the flashbang gets kicked off.

I think Valve REALLY messed something up, expect an emergency patch soon heh.

I saw similar weirdness. Flashbangs worked, but I was only one on server just fiddling around. But mid game, it just dropped me out of server, almost like I was kicked.

they supposedly fixed it so that when you die or kill someone when flashed the death message doesn't appear at the top through the flash... maybe they screwed something up there?

I played last night for a while and flashed tons of people and didn't have any problems like that. I couldn't connect to our server though because it was saying that it was out of date.

Okay I tried today and the flashbangs are working again - it totally freaked me out yesterday when my arm was still attached to the flashbang as it went flying through the air lol

Now the only thing is the humiliation.wav file wont download from our server.

heh the other server I had problems with flashbangs on isnt fixed, still boots me when I throw them, so bizarre.

At least ours is fixed though.

Ya I think Valve screwed up AGAIN. What a bunch of boners

I was playing on a server tonight and KD joined and Red joined later. While ingame, it showed them on the score board as the Troy or the Hank yet whenever they talked or threw a grenade, it showed them as their real name. Bizarre. I should have tried to reconnect but didnt. It was kind of annoying.

it was doing the same weirdness for me also, but I could actually see your name... happened with others instead.

I had some of those problems too, but not just with flashbangs, frags too. I was playing in Office in our server (as CT) and evertime I threw any nade towards that front window area, I'd get an engine error and my game would crash... GO VALVE

I tried it 4 times and I got the same error everytime...

I was just playing on the server 10 minutes ago and I noticed some other problems... but only for me. The people's names stay the same and don't change when people leave and/or join the server. Weird...

P.S. Is friendly fire supposed to be on? and the maps... they last 56 rounds?
