We've been having issues with our server crashing lately and after some investigation I've come to conclude that the AWE Mod is at fault.
So I removed it.
In its place is PAM, or Project Ares Mod.
We lose a lot of our little toys, like picking a secondary weapon, or voting for the next map when the current map ends. However, in exchange we get similar admin capability, a mod that will automatically divide the map into halves and switch the teams around so everyone gets a chance at each side. PAM is also seen as THE mod for ladder/league play, dozens of ladders and leagues out there require it running on match servers.
I encourage everyone to try it out and see what they think, I can put AWE back on at any time but I would have to first figure out what the heck is causing the crashing -- and I've been reading various forums, nobody else seems to know how to fix the MAX_GAMESTATE_CHARS error either.

The issue is were being hosted on Linux, and AWE doesnt like running on Linux at the moment.
Ill try switching back to AWE when I get a chance, but I'm going to be very reserved as to what options I turn on, since I think the fact that we kept added more and more features was what led up to the big crashes.
MAX_GAMESTATE_CHARS exceeded tells me that weve got too much crap on our server and its run out of memory reserved for the GAMESTATE to hold it all.
