Campquake Senate

I was wondering around Dos Box antics and discovered how enjoyable Quake was and continues to be. Loading up nightmare and going into levels created nothing but flashbacks. I knew what was around the corner, where to go for power ups, and where the best sniping locations were. After all this time it's still locked away in me crazy mind.

Then there was this Deathmatch Classic game available on Steam, basically Quake and some original levels have been recreated. Was also a load of fun playing a bit tonight. My prey didn't know how to deal with the rocket launcher camper, and better yet being invulnerability and grabbing the lighting gun under water. Classic.

We are your grandfather's clan now. Images of glorious rebirth and teaching our younglings to build on what once was. Probably smoke for the pipe, these silly ideas.

But it would be cool to saddle up with the rest of you, get into an old Quake CTF Server somehow and it would be game on. Meet each week, tell war stories.

OMG, sorry for not checking in here frequently, I could try to fire up Quake SCTF on my server again. It worked BITD for awhile, but then started crashing. I could try to breathe some life into it.

Am still running Q2 Lithium under CotC, also Team Fortress 2, CSS:GO, but that's about it currently.

Most everyone connected on Facebook now, which is why it is so quiet here, but this place will live on forever regardless.
