Pretty stinkin' great. I have been playing a game lately that seems to attract those from the UK and Oz (of all places, LOL), and having a great time online.
Do you play on-line any more?

Yeah, I play UT99 sniper/camping mod mostly but I am usually up for a bit of Q2 given enough notice
You are into DOD? Thats based on Half Life isnt it?

HL2, I think - they use the Source engine for that stuff. CS/TF2/DoD.
I play a zombie mod called Left4DoD. One of the things that's great is that mostly adults play it, so you don't get all that crappy kid chatter.
And since I am actually pretty good at the game, I'm having a LOT of fun playing it. Unlike Q2, where Data, AW, Neo, and uhhh, everyone, regularly kicked my sorry butt.

Get Steam running first, get your DoD:Source d/l on, and post your Steam ID here. I'll enter you into my friends list, and then I can point you to the servers via Steam.
www.theville.org is the place where they discuss the mod. In the "forums" section.

Thanks Baldrik. I'm seeing if I can source them here ...anywhere... vs the Vat/shipping... I'll let you know. (frame sliders for a motorcycle, each would fit in jeans pocket... )

Thanks for the welcome but I suppose I never really went away, I keep poking my nose in the forum every so often
I don't usually play Q2 but if anyone wants to play I am always willing to reinstall.
