AAR - Epic battles with Nazi zombies.

Played from 8PM to about 10PM Pacific last night. Hooked up with some random DoD:S players and kicked some serious zombie butt. It was very gratifying to be part of a small team, using voice comms, keeping the zombies from winning the map.
In the Left4DOD mod, the server controls the zombie bots by default. But players can choose to be zombies, and that makes the zombie hordes even more daunting. Last night, four humans chose to play on the zombie side, and there were several maps that went to the time limit without any map wins for either side. The mod really is very well-blanaced, and I give the mod-writer props for the balance he built into the game.
My team mates were pretty good, and followed this former Ghost Legion Prefect's orders without too much question. But I was always leading from the front, so all they had to do was cover me while I capped points. Or recap them after I die under an avalanche of zombies and have to slap the space bar.
