It's a Mossberg 835 Deer/Turkey Combo. The barrel on it is a 24" Turky choke, and the barrel below it is a 24" Rifled slug barrel. Shot 3 1/2 12 Ga shells (Ouch)

Turkey season starts Saturday. Woohoo.
Went out last weekend an patterned the thing, this is the first 3 1/2" 12 gauge I have owned,
Felt like I was in a car wreck. Dang thing is nasty, hopefully only one pull of the trigger...

And the results are in!
Pretty morning. Heard gobbles around 6:30, gave a couple of calls. Called again 20 minutes later. Around 7:00 Tom shows up. comes in silent. Has a hen in tow.
I had set up 2 acomplices :
This is what it look like from where I sat, you can see the dekes on the left. Nice campsite, eh?
The gobbler came in from the right, approached the jake. Still silent, He was a little wary of the Jake, and kinds started off to the pines you see in the picture.
I got ready when he wasn't looking, and he turned back to look at the jakes, and I let him have it.
18 Lbs, 1" spurs and 10 " beard.
Bow comes out tomorrow!
