I have a

Windows XP Pro SP2 box
AMD 64 3500+
1Gb DDR400 RAM
Nvidia 6600 GT 256Mb PCIe 16x

Should I buy CoD4 or buy RAM and wait another paycheck to get CoD4?

Both is not an option..

I have @ $50 every 2 weeks that I can "Dispose" of.....

Night,
You did not mention the OS, but for either XP or Vista I would first add at least 1 more gig, but not more than 2 more gig. Adding more memory will improve both gaming and general performance, but adding more games will not improve your memory :)

You'd be able to run the game but you might not like the performance. Data's advice is smrt.

OS: XP or Vista
Processor: 2.6ghz Pentium IV or equivalent (3.2ghz recommended for Vista)
RAM: 1024mb (1536mb recommended for Vista)
Video Card: DirectX 9-compliant Shader 3.0 card with 128 MB of DDR Video Memory (256 MB recommended) AGP 8x or PCI-Express x16
Sound Card: 16-bit DirectX 9-compliant sound card

DirectX9 for XP and 10 for Vista, 8 gigs HD space + 600mb for swap file.

Supported chipsets:

Nvidia Geforce 6/7/8 series

ATi X800 or higher

With that card you can probably barely run the game on really low settings.

Mem would help but you def want a matched pair, not another gig to go with yours.

If you can get a G-card an 8800gt is the best price to performance ratio. $269.00

I have a dual core AMD (first gen), Gforce 7900gtx, 2 gig mem and only pull medium specs. Its not pretty but the play is solid.
