Who's picking up Quake Wars?

I'm currently the only vote 'no', and here is why:
1) the gameplay is unfair - there is no balancing of the teams currently.
2) the weapons are unbalanced, the strogg have all the best weapons, that there are no comparable ones for, on the gdf (?).
3) the technology used / usable in the game is also unbalanced in that the strogg have a completely unfair advantage here as well.. ie., flying vehicles, teleportation, etc etc...
I'll buy the orange box, and I'll buy CoD4.... but not this game...

Teams can be balanced. Weapons are relatively equal when it comes to hit damage. GDF do have flying vehicles, just no teleportation.
Don't give up too soon. You only saw one map via the demo, which is probably not the best map to judge it by.

I came across a mention about QW that says it doesn't have voice support... is this accurate?

Maybe this is something the clan could sink it's teeth into? ...we could even bring back those nights of laid back gaming and a few adult-like-beverages...

No idea why they won't/don't have it in, but yes, TS can be used still anyways.

I believe they left voice comms to third-party apps.
