Wow. Got back Sunday night. What a place. 215 sq miles of amazing backcountry.

We ended up with 76 miles over 10 days on the trek.

Saw Mule deer, turkeys, eagles, and rattlesnakes. No elk :(

The Tooth of Time, on our first day.

The "other side" of tooth of time ridge on our secnod to last day. Had to hike 11 miles that day to te top of that ridge and down past the tooth. Lot's of elevation changes and tough hiking.

These mulies weren't afraid of anything. Encounters of less than 15 feet happened routinely.

My son and I at the summit of Mt. Phillips at 11,795 feet. Wow, what a view, and what a climb!

Another great view from just below Commanche Peak.

At the finish line!

More Pics:

The wing of a B24 that crashed in 1944 on top of trail peak mountain 10,495 feet. Tradition states that you must stand and then pee off wing.
