There is snow everywhere...which is both good and bad, but my girls loved playing in it for the first time in their lives.... :)

Watch us get 3 feet of snow in one night this February... and have that be it for snow this season...

Way cool Serp. I am sure your daughters had a blast.

We have snow from November to March, non stop. Sometimes 3 to 4 feet deep.

Doesn't look like so much snow, though i'm glad you guys had fun in it. Sweet picture. Sweet in the unmanly sense... you know, as in: "Awww, that's sweet.." not like "Dude! Sweet!" ... it doesn't happen very often, but i just smile inside at the idea of kids having fun. And the first snow is always the best.

I hate to rain on your parade Serp & I am very glad your girls loved it but if you want to see real snow follow the link & then REALLY think about coming up to God's country. The link that I am posting is about 3 hours from here. In Stewart BC. The Granduc copper mine area received recognition in the Guinness Book of World Records for the world's record snowfall in 1973 for a recorded snowfall that year of 1199 inches. This sets the scene for some of, if not the best, snowmobiling in the world!

For those of you who dont compute inches well 1199 inches is = 99.92 feet

Or you can come even closer to Terrace & go to Kitimat (45 mins away) which had:

14-18 January 1974, Kitimat, British Columbia: Canada's record five-day snowfall buries Kitimat under 246.2 cm (97 inches) of snow.

This comes from this site:

Basically a big snow belt up here!

KD are you still interested in those Brochures on the heliskiing in this area? If you are I can mail those down to you if you would like?

I'd love some brochures!
I definitely want to do the heli-boarding thing one of these days!
Ski lifts and crowds just aren't doing it for me anymore... Last week I landed flat on my back from a good size jump and knocked myself out for a bit.... Powder definitely could cure that problem! ;)
