I thought he news reports stated they had but a mask over his head. If so this video, probably from a camera phone does not show that.

The reports I heard said he refused to be blindfolded or masked and witnesses say his eyes were open and unblinking through the whole process. He showed no fear or shame during the execution.

After following the news, seems this video is a true one. I had some misconstrued information about the mask.

The individual who leaked the video has been arrested. Apparently he was one of two people with a cell phone at the hanging.

Conflict, yes.

There are still loyal Saddamist's running about. If someone set a time and place, you can sure bet that security would be over run by imbeciles (Both for the hanging and against).

Like the Nazi Party before it, the Baathist Party must be wiped clean from the face of the earth.

The Baathist Party was created prior to WWII, but declared it's allegiance to Hitler in 1939, it's in the history books; including but not limited to the belief that Jews are monkeys and pigs, as well as a completely lower race.

The only way to turn around Germany was a complete de-Nazification of the country. The same has not been attempted in Iraq.

BTW, Baathists run Syria and have deep ties to Lebanese political parties allied with Iran.
