The game "The Ship" is free this weekend on Steam. Apparently it's a trial version of the full game.

By the looks of the previews etc the grahics look kind of weak.
A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week. A pint of sweat, saves a gallon of blood. No poor bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making other bastards die for their country.

I thought the same thing! Half-Life 1 kind of looking... Maybe a little better, but not much. Perhaps the game will be fun to make up for the look. It's concept of finding someone to kill while you're being stalked sounds fresh.

i have played it before....been a long time though...before it was even on steam and was just a half life addon ages ago...from what i read and see, its the same game still basically....but ya, the idea is cool...but like baron says, its way complicated...i might try it this weekend, but i havent played it in ages, b/c its too tricky to spend that much time on it. lol ;) (IMHO)

I'm gonna have to make some space, install HL2 again, to give it a whirl!

The graphics have a "Sims-esque" feel to them, i dont find them weak but they wont be for everyone. Very cartoony

Yeah, graphics are a little Sim(ilar)

The game play is a bit odd. I didn't easily understand what my objectives were. And when I did figure it out and finally find my target, I would get arrested by the invisible police. It's a strange game. I might give it another go, but my first impressions are that it is not to my liking.
