Does anyone know what your steam user id ticket is ? When I try to play some CS, it tells me the server I am trying to join can't idenify it.

It also says "Server unable to contact the authentication server."

Any idea's, cause I'm stumped and deprived of my internet gaming.

PLEASE HELP

Close Steam

Go here

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam

Find the file steamclient.dll and rename it to steamclient.bak

Launch Steam

Your client should update...You you should be fine after that.

Let me know otherwise..

I tried what you told me and it says the same thing but a little diferently.

"Dissconected from server. Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket(server unable to contact the authentication server, 35)"

I double checked the file you had me rename, and according to my search engine there are 2 files named steamclient.dll , and 2 named steamclient.bak. None of which are located in C:/programfiles/valve/steam.

Should I just reinstall my CS and Steam.

Exit Steam, open your steam folder locate these files and rename them with a .bak extension.
ClientRegistery.blob
Steam.dll
SteamUi.dll

Restart steam and try again.
