Prey's community is mildly upset about it since Prey came out with Portals first. (Although I seem to recall Super Capture the Flag had Portals too! We just lacked the pretty front end!) But this game looks like a real fun puzzle based game using portals. I hear it's a freebie if you buy Half-Life Episode 2 (to be released at a later date).

Prey's portals are static aren't they? Meaning can you move them around or even open them up wherever you want like HL2? Portals really are going to add some crazy gameplay action. Can't wait to fire up Prey and give it a go this weekend...

My vid card and mobo came today, it's just taunting me to put it in the box and set it up... but I need more time....

Prey's are static in Single Player, meaning that they are scripted to appear at a specific point and don't target new areas on demand.

I haven't played mod's in Multiprey yet. I tried Multiprey once in the demo for 5 minutes to see if it was playable, and it was. I've heard rumor of mod's with a "Portal Wrench" where the wrench can create a dynamic portal like thi this HL2 game. And mod's with the Shuttle's where you can fly around.

Well dang, I haven't been much interested in these episode things cause I don't know what their all about, but this one has really caught my eye.
