the sunsets on that side of the island are well worth sitting down on your Lanai to watch!
bring a camera, you'll get some nice shots!
It should set towards Lanai.
Looks like you are over there by Kahana... a little further up the road though, I can't remember the name of the place.
I'm jealous now, the weather looks beautiful over there right now!

The family on the bottom of Kilauea Iki. If you ever get here, do this 4 mile hike. It is neat. Not too strenuous, except climbing up the cliff pictured at the far end.
Steaming vents at Kilauea Iki
An offering to Pele left at Kilauea Iki
Lookimg back across the crater and the trail. The main Kilauea Caldera is in the background.
With the youngsters at a place called Devil's throat. Deep collapsed crater, no fences, major freaky.
A couple shots of new earth being built where lava flow from Pu'u o'o vent enters the sea.
Only a few day left here. Majorly relaxed!
