Made the switch...

Post by BD »

Changed to liquid cooling over the weekend with the Thermaltake Bigwater SE. It took a couple of hours altogether (plus I had to get a new case bbecause of the big assed radiator). I messed up something unrelated however because now the machine refuses to do anything after initial power. I've already found two cables I plugged in wrong.

Chalk one up for not doing this drunk next time... lol

Liquid cooling... I would constantly be in fear that the stuff would one day spill over everything and ruin the computer. T_T

How often do you need to change the anti-freeze?! heh!

Are you overclocking at all? Or is it just for system longevity?

Very cool.... so does your PC actually still work?
Zoddy is determined to resurrect the old e-machines
motherboard. If he can replace the capacitors maybe
he should try this too.
