My childhood dream comes true!!
When I was 2 my dad built a Harley Trike. It's from somewhere in the 1930-1949 era. It has a highback VW bug seat on the back. It has straight pipes. It rocks.

He's finally agreed to give it to me. I'll be going up to his house int he next few months and helping him put it back together, then bringing it down here for a complete rebuild, stripping and repainting/plating.

The highback seat is really what makes it look as cool as it does. I'll look for a picture somewhere and scan it .. or draw one.

that awsome man,i have seen a few here in N.H. all Chromed out,loud as heck too! i also saw one that had a top covering from the back of the seats to just about a foot over the front of the passengers heads,sort of looked like a chopped ZZ Top car,he had a round Chrome steering wheel instead of the long handle bars,Chrome shifter lever in the middle and Chromed out hand breaks attached to the under side of the steering wheel..man you had to see this thing it was awsome.
