Check it out, use it, abuse it. I would love to see Q2 action again. Dedicated 24/7 server.
Connect to: server.campquake.net:666
Yes, that's port 666
Default Q2 port brings up Q2 Lithium. LMCTF files you'll need client side to play:
Install to Q2 directory first:
http://www.campquake.net/files/Quake2/M ... mctf50.exe
Then:
http://www.campquake.net/files/Quake2/M ... ctf456.exe
Ah, good old days of Loki's Minions.

I've got it all installed but can't seem to get the mouse right. Mouse will move me left and right but I cannot look up or down with it. Use "+mlook" but then cannot go sideways or left with the mouse. Ideas?

If I am not mistaken, in the Doom/Quake games, the mouse is an either/or thing.
Look or move, but not both.
It's been a long time since I've played, however. Neo would know more, I think. Data has programmed in Q1, so he'd know the arcana better than just about anyone.

Sounds like fun. I just got Q1 installed on this beast. Now me must find Q2...
Hey - could you put the latest BF2 patch up? v1.21, IIRC.
Thanks!

BTW - anyone looking for patches or updates or anything like that ... xfire is GREAT at that... no waiting in line like on sites such as fileplanet and the like... and nice and fast.

Scion, how DID you find this gang of misfits anyways? As I remember, when Quake I came out, our computer (florida...) couldn't handle the game because we only had 8mb or ram. Time travel?

There's still alot of aspects of Quake 1 and 2 that surpass alot of newer games.

xfire recognizes Quake 2 and there are a pile of populated servers out there.
