Just Popped in from an internet joint in Amsterdam. Big hi to you all. Hope everyone that knows me is cool and good, those of you who don't know me never met me in a Q2 server

Things are pretty good right now, I'm working for Motorola, went to visit the main place in Chicargo, wow what a city !!

Living in a small place in Swindon, actually if you do a google world search for Motorola Swindon it actually takes you to the building. So, I'm chillin, not been gaming for ages, with the exception of the odd run into Guild Wars. In a band as a guitarist (Over here in Swindon 4 guys, lots of beer, and guitars makes a band, just thought I should qualify that before anyone started asking for examples of our music)

Anyhow, how is everyone ?

What's up K'Fry! Good to hear from you. I'm glad to hear things are going so well for you. Playing guitar instead of playing Quake 2 'eh? Sounds like quite a departure. I'm affraid I couldn't play an instrument even if it were to save my life, so I still play games on occasion. Mostly I play a Half-Life 1 mod called Sven-Coop. (You play the single player mission fighting against the CPU instead of the cheating masses.) I'm still working for the school district here in San Diego. But now with a promotion!

Well it was great to hear from you! Come back around when we have a Quake 2 night!

Heya, I've been using my time deployed to Kosovo to learn me the bass. Pretty cool since the Army mob'd me and destroyed my resume. Now I get to go back to unemployment. Joy.

I too borrowed a guitar from a friend about 3 months back and started plinkin' away.
over the Thanksgiving weekend I splurged and bought myself a nice deluxe players Strat and Marshall amp...

It's actually quite therapeutic!

Now if only I could find some good teaching material...

Motorolla's can be used to hammer nails in to concrete and still work great. But them other brands can't be dropped on a bed from 1 inch without blowing-up the display!

Funny thing, my service is from T-Mobile (sucks), and my phone's a Motorolla (awesome).

Motorola engineering can't be beat remember we started life making radios for GIs.

Now we bring that technology into mobiles LOL. Actually, it's not too far from the truth to be honest. One of my friends had a really bad accident where he nearly died, they anticipated that his ribs would have been seriously damaged if it wasnt for his mobile (a Motorola) taking the impact of the handlebars. It still worked even after that.

Hi KD ! Good to see ya. I got my Strat at the start of the year, been real fun since I did, one of my friends let me have a play on his dads old Washburn and I though, oh hell I have to get one of these so I bought the Strat the next day. I go to lessons now and not looked back I hope to do it in front of an audience next year. Other than that the innernet has tons and tons of resources free to learn from. If you want any help or information then just ask.

Nice to see BD likes to play as well (actually Vader just started with a Bass and looks like hes going to have fun with it.) So you are on your way out of it all BD ? wow how long have you served bud?

Hey Neo and slider I am looking at the COD2 stuff and drooling, they made huge headways into realism on the first release in my opinion so this next one is really looking tasty. Thing is I'm going to have to look at getting a system that supports the graphics. Hey, looks like its worth it, so see you all there when I get it.

Hey, I'm headed into England probably near the end of January and should be there a good bit into February. We should meet up and have a couple!

Hey, one sec! I like Samsung Electronics. They're pretty reliable and seem to be on the leading edge with features. But for telephones, this is a new market for them. Motorola has done their time in communications and have time proved processors. Motorola leads the pack with innovations like the Razr phone. (You have to admit that it's stylish, Even if it leave some things to be desired.) If your Samsung phone can out live that LG one you had, then I'll consider their tech is solid. But, they need to stand up to the test of time first!

And bonus points to your Samsung for that AMD Athlon CPU you got in there! Way better then my Intel P4, and yours consumes less power!

P.S. I know the only reason you went with T-Mobile is because of those Catherine Zeta-Jones commercials, ya big softie!

Thanks bud cool words! I got a RAZR from the company and its pretty damn good, but I want the ROKR for the I-tunes its all a bit of a laugh.
