At London Heathrow this AM, waiting for the flight to Germany.

I''m whooped.

On the flight in, 1/2 hour before landing, there was a huge fire on the ground. Looked like an oil depot or something. Freakin crazy big fire, mushroom clouds.

Probably will be on news.

Dusseldorf was interresting. Good beer. They have two main kinds, Alt, whihc is a dark beer, and Pils, a lighter colored beer.

Lot's of pretty blondes running around. Building are all very square and stodgy.

People very friendly. Food good too.

I'm at London HEathrow right now, heaed to London Gatwick airport for the flight over. /hopefully, it will be uneventful....

When I went to Germany last summer I toured mainly the southern areas of Germany. I'm not really sure where Dusseldorf is. I always found two different kinds of people in Germany: Those that hate Americans, and those that hate Germans. Both groups consisted of German people.

I have about another month or so before I'm headed back into London myself. I should be there for about 2 weeks, then I have to stop off in NJ on the way back. I guess since they raised the closed curtains law at the pubs finally, I can spend even more time in the evenings getting plastered!

they used to kick you out of the pubs after a certain time, sorta like "last call" here, but now, from what I hear at least, you can drink 24/7
