Campquake Senate

Planned maintenance on the NetAccess backup power systems requires that we
power off most equipment for a short period while we upgrade a power output
module. This will only take a few minutes for the actual work; however, the
powering down of all equipment may extend the outage for some services for
up to 30 minutes. We have set a maintenance windows of 1am to 2am Tuesday
September 27th, 2005.

I'll need to shut our server down before leaving work, and start it up the following day.

Actually, it is only one of two battery backup systems being shut down tonight.

So, the game server stays up and running (it should), but forums here will be inaccessible at 1:00am to 2:00am or so.

Now dontcha wish all of the internet companies out there gave notice like this? (Instead of taking down stuff and waiting for calls to come in and bombard them with questions.)
