Heads will roll

Last year 4 hurricanes romped over Florida. FEMA and the Federal
government came out of it looking like consummate professionals.
Why? Because Jeb Bush, the governer of Florida, had a relentless
focus on getting help out to the front lines immediately, and was able
to provide civil support within hours of the storm, until the fed response
could gear up several days later. It didn't hurt that his brother was
president, of course. Now this year, FEMA and the feds look like hapless
losers in New Orleans, mostly because of the clueless and
inept "leadership" provided by the Louisiana Democratic machine. But
Bush and his administration will be blamed. Marshall McLuhan (a really
smart Canadian) once said, "the medium is the message". Bush just
does not have the ability of a Reagan or Clinton to manage the media,
and in the next several weeks, he is going to pay the price. It is so ironic
that this will be as a result of the failures of his idealogical opposites
in Louisiana. So heads will roll soon, probably starting with the guys in
charge of FEMA and Homeland Security. You heard it here.... second!
I got most of this from watching cable tv and reading the newspaper
