Okay, here is the deal. At school, we have a computer room that has 28 cpus that all run off a main server machine. Each of the machines only has cpu ram and mb, etc. but no floppy or cd. I need to install a program on these machines using the server machine. Is there anything tricky to this? I know that when the machines crash, I can reset the machines, they boot into linux then the windows logon screen comes up. That may have changed though since last June. They talked about switching over to completely windows. I haven't been into the schools since June. The reason I'm asking is that the principal of the school has asked me if I can install these programs or if I know someone that knows how because he doesn't want to get the school board to do it. Thanks for any help. I'm sure I'm forgetting some important info so if so, just remind me.

Are these thin clients? If they are, then you will need to install the applications to the server and then assign the application to the computers through some sort of management interface.
If these are thick clients then you might be able to use a USB External drive to install the applications. Alternatly, you can copy the install to your server's share point and install from there - if the application/copy protection allows it.
