Boy these Germans...

These people are driving me crazy. The one thing that is bugging me right now is this damn keyboard with it switched around keys and different symbols. I have yet to find the "at" sign for emails.

It seems that I've avoided jet lag for this trip, which surprises me. The autoban is cool, except when it has heavy traffic, which it always does. The cities are really nice, the buildings all have an old structure to it but beautiful nonetheless. But they are very cramped. Many floors, little walking space. As of right now the house I'm staying in has no internet, because it broke. They're trying to fix it and get a better company, so a few weeks and I might be back to onlineness. It also doesn't help that my german isn't very good, so understanding people... doesn't happen often. I'm writing this from school (yeah, I'm in school AGAIN, what a life), and the bell just wrang, so I've gotta go!!!!

lol, sounds like me when I went to England for the first time. Except of course that they actually speak english, albeit sometimes funny, but at least it is English.

And yes, getting used to that keyboard layout can take some time.
Fortunately it's still a qwerty layout, just alot of the symbols are bass-ackwards!

Go find a pub and make it all happy! ;)

Luckily, most Germans speak English (even if they pretend not to).

If they do speak english, they sure hide it well. And those that do speak a very broken up english. The weather is absolutely wacked here. When it rains, it rains in periods. You get a light rain for 5 minutes, break for 10 minutes, very heavy rain the next 10 minutes, break again, 5 minutes of rain AND sunshine, break, more rain, break, and so on.

Besides the rain, it is just too hot for me. On top of that, I'm drinking drinks that I am not legally allowed to drink... at least not in the US. These people love parties, and BBQ... Anyone live nearby that I can go knock on the front door of?

I'll be there August 20 and Sept 5. Mostly at the Airport but there will be time for drinks that I am legally allowed to drink (but not allowed to here).
