So how about it, anyone want to get together this weekend for a little quaking? No good Friday night but I might be able to do Sat or Sun.

I'd love to, but have still not installed the Windows version of Q1.

And I need to grab the maps and stuff - I got a real copy somewhere, but I have no idea what happened to it. :)

Heh np. We have a server that we play on across the pond. Not sure exactly where it is but some of the old fogies around here would :P

Actually with bandwidth the way it is now I think we would easily be able to find a midpoint location to play on that was satisfactory. It always seemed like the extreme West was the issue as these players could not get close enough, West North America that is. But in my opinion linking with allies across the pond, even legions across the pond, was always doable and fun, even in the old days.

Actually it so happened that I just reinstated my old Q1 SCTF server a week ago,
for occasional playing with a few friends. That's located in Switzerland and its address is:
137.138.93.245:26167
It may often be switched off during working hours.
There isn't much action, and if, then most likely during weekend evenings euro time
(means noon on the west coast).

Just check out:
http://ww2.sctf.net:90/servers.shtml
On that site you'll also find info on SCFT.
Don't forget: Q1 SCTF was the breeding ground of CotC!

Hop by, see you there !
