Google Keyhole - awesome streaming satellite mapping
software. Free for 7 day trial or subscribe for $30 per year.
Download it and try it out. I zoomed in on our house,
rotated and tilted the view so I could check the back yard,
and wouldn't you know it, the kids had not cleaned it up

Oh, hey, wait, I didn't realize there was software to download too and be able to look closer! I was looking at their map system and took a screen shot of our house, but zoomed in as far as I could.

Odd, with the Keyhole software, when I zoom to street level, everything is just fuzzy.

I was just thinking that the Keyhole software was more detailed, but to me, it is just like a big map of streets (when you are at that leve) with no detail at all on terrain.

Figured out why, if they don't have close up images of areas, it won't display. Seems they only go into detail on major cities.

Is it live? Or how up to date is it?

Will I be able to see my house?
That depends. While Keyhole does cover the entire globe with satellite imagery, we do not have high resolution imagery for the entire globe. We have focused on larger, US metropolitan areas initially, and will be adding much broader coverage in high-resolution detail over the coming months. See the following charts for a comprehensive list of available high-resolution cities.

This is like reading that because the Stealth Fighter was publicly demonstrated "we have discontinued all black projects, and our technology is not better."
They have stuff that can count my ass hairs. I'd wager a left one.
