EURO COTC (PAST OR PRESENT)... KNOCK KNOCK

So here's the dilema...
-The Army will fly me back to the states for Leave
-I get 11 days in the states, MAX
-The Army will cover $998 of the plane ticket
-The Army buys the ticket in Euro's
-The exchange rate sucks
-My scheduled time is the last half of August
-The tourist season is the last half of August
A guy who is going to LAX from here in April has a ticket worth 700 Euros... 930 dollars. I see that I will be paying a fair chunk to travel home. I'm undecided, I want to go home and see the kids on the one hand... on the other it may be cheaper to stay Europe and travel around for 2 weeks.

If I do that, I'm pulling all the "on-line buddy" cards I can (that's the best way anyway.) So I need to first off know how to contact our Euro-bretheren, past or present. Any ideas?
(If any of them are reading this, I'm AW/Asswoop post name change.)
Also, I'll be posting an MPEG in a little bit of Gjilane, the city outside of our base. Sorry but yes, my ugly arse is in it.
