Civilized and Serial killer? Those are not exactly two words compatable in the same sentance in my book. But I see your point bro. I didn't mean to get all defensive, but I felt some lambasting by that previous comment even if it wasn't directly at me per se.

Wow. Issues is right, and the first one is the level of insult. Clearly reason has given way to an emotional outburst, opposed to an outburst of opinion.

I will take issue with your opinions, and express mine. And in my humble pinion certain folks are better than others. I don't live in glass houses, as they would allow too much solar radiation, UV light and what not. They would be hard to cool in the summer and totally unstable in an earthquake. Moreover, heating costs in the summer would make the entire venture a waste of capital.

What would be waste is not responding to senseless statistical crappy pants. To argue that a larger population of serial killers exists in let's say the United States versus the United Kingdom, without actually citing the largess of the population differential is ignorant. Of course more serial killers come from the United States per capita because the population is larger. Per capita serial killers from a smaller population group in the United Kingdom is what someone should be screaming about, for as the population of serial killers in a smaller group rises the more serious the social ill.

Such statistics always amuse me as the same is true for free nations versus closed politcal systems. More crime is in fact inherent in economic systems where the free exchange of goods and services abound, while less freedom results in more death, in say a country like Stalinist Russia or the former Iraq. So what is more evil, that a free nation has flaws and problems inherent to it's design, or that the design of other less free nations carries with it at almost 100% death, purges, genocide, murder, corruption, and all that comes with it.

Anyway, in my humble opinion:

1. Civilization is good and I'm glad I don't live in trees and fling my crap at others.

2. Some people on this globe are more civilized than others. I prefer those that are more civilized.

3. Other people on this globe hate those that are civilized and suffer from envy, the envy of generational loss as their fathers crapped their futures away, spent their national surplus on corruption, or pissed away their people through indentured slavery, or in ancient cast systems they still employ - like in Mexico or India where it is more pronounced as one is not just poor, middle class, or rich but rather a worker or slave (suppose that could be in a communist country too, worker versus slave, really the same thing).

4. There are bad people in this world that are not civilized, have no comprehension of how to be civilized, and practice a cult of death, blow themselves up to make points and foster their own backwards political agendas.

5. I refuse to accept that all peoples are the same when it comes to all populations being civilized, but rather accept that certain portions of the world are in fact backwards, and I don't have any responsibility to better their condition because if I did then their fathers would have helped mine.

In short, I am not superman and neither is my country. My country must look after my interests or I need another country. My country is not responsible for the ills of this world nor the ills this world forces upon it.

The best part i find is that one of the most defended airspace in the USA was left undefended leaving room for a JUMBO jet to get into that airspace & hit the Pentagon?
