ask is similar to google in their search and results pages both.... i would personally use ask over yahoo for these reason alone - the ads on yahoo are horrendous.

For whatever reason every time I do a search with yahoo on my firefox it comes back telling me to refine my search even if I type the word dog. It could be some settings or something but that only happens with that serach engine. It works when I use IE.

Yahoo works fine for me in Firefox

Oh, I have no doubt of that...

I just always thought Yahoo was one of the more popular ones. <Shrugs>
