WLO told me I had $1000 to spend ....so my system cost me
Out the door $999.88

how is that for shopping.... I had the monitor before hand that price is just for what is in the case

BTW I have a 19" NEC CRT Flat

hehe I have an NEC 19" flat CRT too, its my secondary now beside my brand new 19" LCD panel

NEC rocks

dual monitors is so awesome cause I can watch the teamspeak server on my secondary while I play on the primary

It's sick, but I have the entire price of your machine in 1 component of my computer! My Matrox RT.X100 Pro card. And the price of my kids laptop in my soundcard alone...

I might as well jump in.

AMD64 X2 4800+ 2.4GHZ oc'd to 2.594GHZ
MSI NForce-4 MB
2gig cosair XMS Pro 3-3-3-8 2T
Sound blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty "new"
NVidia 7800gt oc'd by BFG "new"
2x 250gig SATA II HD's raid 1
19" LCD Monitor "new"
Logitech G15 Keyboard "new"
Kengston wireless mouse "new"
Antec LAN-Party case
Lite-on burner and a seperate Lite-on DVD drive
480watt true power supply
2x 120 cm fans 1 front 1 back and I drilled holes in the side of the case and added a 90 cm fan
Plus a blower
With all this hardware i manage to stay @ around 35c idle and 42c to 45c @ full load i ran a lot hotter before adding the blower and the side fan.

It is easy to afford this stuff I just tell my wife and kids that they can't eat for a month because daddy needs a new toy. Then whala new computer parts. :D

I used to go this way too. Not eating wasn't so bad. We'd finally start cooking all that stuff that we bought in tin can's at least!

But then I started to give Uncle Sam a non-taxable/interest-free loan each payday. Which I would collect the sum of in February each year. I learned that any money found in tax returns was a bounty redeemable on technology!
